Live and historical tracking, machine running time reporting

GPSonRoad tracking system goes well beyond following your mobile assets on a map - it is a powerful and flexible management tool that helps you better understand and manage your field operations on a day-to-day, real-time basis. Real time and historical tracking of vehicles are only the beginning - GPSonRoad offers a suite of productivity enhancing solutions for your most common fleet management problems. Construction equipment owners can get machine running time reports as well as email/SMS alerts when auxiliary equipments e.g. cranes, pumps, concrete mixing machines etc. are powered on or powered off.

Driver and vehicle data maintenance

GPSonRoad is probably the only fleet management solution in the market that allows owners of fleet of vehicles to maintain driver and vehicle details of all drivers and vehicles in the pool. This includes personal details of the drivers and all relevant details of the vehicles including license renewal date, servicing date, insurance renewal date, inspection date etc. The transport department can be alerted in case any of this date is near the expiry date. For ease of monitoring, users can even create different groups and allocate vehicles under different groups. While super user can monitor all vehicles in the pool, he can create multiple user ids with different levels of access to the system and different users can be allowed to monitor vehicles under their respective groups only.

Fuel management

As an option, GPSonRoad tracking system allows fleet owners to enter fuel purchase data to the system and analyze the efficiency of the driver and/or the vehicle. The system allows the users to set an initial odometer reading for each vehicle and compare the same with the vehicle odometer with provision for auto correction. The system provides litre/100 km and km/litre figures for each vehicle if fuel purchase data are regularly updated. The system can also send email/sms alert for every 'x' km of travel by any vehicle in the fleet.

Reports and alerts

GPSonRoad tracking system provides email and/or sms alerts for almost any event one can think of. One can define 'Geo fenced area', 'no-go zone' and 'point of interest (POI)' anywhere in the map at any zoom level and be alerted when a vehicle enters or leaves a defined area. The system also provides root deviation alert for deviation from a pre-defined root. Any place including delivery points can be defined as POIs and reports can be generated for visits of selected/all POIs by any/all vehicles within a date range. The POI visit alert over sms is a unique feature of GPSonRoad that keeps users altomatically alerted on their mobile phones on reaching or leaving from important places during the journey.
